: Jesus/Christian metal

Now personally, I have no problame if a metal band wants to sing about jesus, metal can be about whatever you want it to be about, so go ahead if you want.
Now, I've heard about "christian metal" and "white metal" but I've never come across "jesus metal"
As I've already said, I have nothing against it... but the lyrics in this song are kinda... silly really:

Now, I've also found out about this recently, it's called "Christian Black Metal". I find that a TAD hypacritical, the whole point  of black metal is for it to be anti-christian... so haveing a sub genre called "Christian black metal" is a bit... funny I guess:

In 1984, the power of Christ compelled them to rock. Decked out in yellow and black spandex, Stryper co-opted Heavy Metal to communicate the reality of Jesus.
