: Is it appropriate to recommend attire for weddings on the invitation? : Amin September 12, 2013, 08:27:43 AM Some people in Hawaii really don't know how to dress for weddings. We would like to recommend to our guests to dress in semi-formal or Filipino formal attire (barong for males, Filipina dress for women). We didn't want the men to have to come in suits so a dress shirt and tie would be OK. We also want them to come in slacks rather than khakis.
