I had to make a thread.

An AMAZING Pagan/ Folk Metal band, and deffinetly in my top 10 metal favorite list.
I quite literally breath them now.
They're a perfect blend of Folk and metal, they have a great mixture of instruments and as well as heavy songs, they have amazing instrumental and calm songs only useing the folk instruments such as the fiddle, Hurdy Gurdy, fluet and bag pipes.
There's a total of ten musicians.

I SERIOUSLY recomend listening with earphones.

Inis Mona:

It's funny how every major metal movement started in Britan, but has ended up somewhere else.

Metal in general; Started in the UK, ended up in the US
New wave on British metal; Stayed in the UK actually
Black Metal; Started in the UK, ended up in Norway and Iceland
New wave of folk metal; Started in the UK, ended up in Denemark, Finalnd and the Switts.

For some odd reason, Scandinavia LOVE metal. Maybe it's something to do with their viking roots...

I wish I was a viking.

For no apparent reason, I decided to trasfer the bag pipes part in Inis Mona, onto guitar.
I've got the main riff. Smiley

Third note in would be better it were played smoothly as one long note, and not a series of little notes.

Incorrect to the original scripture, but musically it would sound better.
