Seriously, say the same good looking and charming guy in one scenerio is a hairdresser (and STRAIGHT) and in the other is a firefigher or a marine? Is there a big difference in attraction?Vidal Sassoon was a straight man's-man (athletic etc.) AND a very famous hair dresser AND women LOVED him. (Also, think of Warren Beatty's character in the movie Shampoo).

Some people just like to box and label the people in their lives. Male hairdressers have a stereo-type of being girly gay. Male firefighters have a stereo-type of being macho men.
