Nice.  I got a C in art  C in graphics B in modern languages C in English C in english litriture C in biology C in physics C in Chemestry Plenty of passes but they're mostly all C's... I vould of have goten an A in science if the moved me up, I proved my self so many time I was capebly of taking the higher papers but they wouldn't let me, I took the lower AND higher paper at the same time for my mocks, and got an A* for the higher paper.  |

Look. And listen Very, VERY carefully.
We were in a VERY bad situation. We were NOT taught to draw in those two years, we were TOLD to draw.
We went round and round in circles for two years. We achieved **** all. I, for one, can tell you that comparing my art from two years ago to what it is today, there is VERY, VERY little difference. I am almost exactly the same and I achieved nothing.
Miss Turner was NOT an art teacher. Had she been an art teacher, we all would have got A's. We were willing to learn, but she refused to teach. THis is not our fault.
You are now on a fantastic course, which I can assure you will make you into a proffessional artist by the end of it. You will learn to draw properly, using correct structure and proportion techniques, and you will learn to paint.
I assure you that you will come out with an amazing grade, because you are in an excellant course.
Everything she "taught" us was useless. I listened to some of advice she gave people, and it was absolutely ridiculous.
She told someone not to bother with line-skeletons at the base of his work, which is ludicrous, and she told YOU not to dunk your paper in water when you making ink-blot art, which is exactly what you are supposed to do.
We achieved nothing, and as a result, we got a grade which reflected the skills we had when we went in.

So why is it that when I went it to the coarse, I was working on a B, but on the seconed half of the coarse, I went down to a C.
And on top of all this, she told me that an A in a lot of other schools, is only worth a C in our one... THAT DOESN'T HELP! ._.

Maybe her immense lack of help dealing with the new media (oil paints) led to your skills just going down...down...down? She told you that because it's her marking them. Of course only SHE would give an A student a C.  |

There probably will be in the near future. At the moment, the highest grade you can get is an A* (The same as an A+) They are thinking of adding a grade higher than that called an A**. Oh dear. |
